Just saw this on a mailing list as describing someone into contemporary arts:
…You write texts in unusual and innovative formats; you are an experienced musician with
many questions, which other musicians cannot answer; you work with images and keep
making new discoveries at their diffuse borders; you perform, but the space doesn’t always
play along; you know a lot, but like to listen; you sometimes look over the fence; you are
fast, but slow down in unexpected places…
I’m still trying to figure out what all that means. The most interesting thing in that description is the mention of “writing texts in unusual and innovative formats;” how many innovative formats can there be for text? I must dig into this further.
