The 1st day of school for our kiddos went off without much trouble. Got them to bed last night around 8:00 PM (yay!), and got them up at 6:45 AM. Our middle child appears to have inherited my hatred for early mornings, so there was some struggle there.
It was funny – our 3 year old doesn’t start K3 until tomorrow, and he couldn’t figure out why he didn’t get to go to school today like his siblings. So, in response, he just went ahead and put his school shirt and new shoes on, and said he was ready for the next day. I wonder if he’ll stay up all night tonight?
